I’m considering a tonsillectomy because I have problems with my tonsils every 6-8 weeks. Now I tried to get this done while in university back in Canada but in Canada the bar for adult tonsillectomies is quite high. However, here in America, they are much less hesistant (ah, private health care). What’s making me second guess this is the whole surgery aspect and that I’ll be out of comission for at least five days.
Just curious if anyone here has had this done as an adult and had any thoughts to share?
